      Politics and Islam

Religion and Politics

Some people say to us “ why do you take part in politics,” But we believe that religion and politics if cut into two, the remainder is always barbarity (a trait of Ganges Khan), and if people want us to preach only in masque and let politics degenerate into (into barbarity). What a religion they want us to preach? They want us to practice Christian Theocracy? A religion which has nothing to do with politics. But we do not believe in such a religion our religion is base on Quran and Sunnah, we not only take part in politics but we regard it as an integral part of our religion.

There are others who remark, “your religious earlioir but now you have gone political” “fact remains that we have not spent a single day when we were such religious who regard politics as a forbidden tree, and God’s cures be upon us if he ever had been secular,” let it be clear we are followers of Islam and want to enforce it.

We are as much political as Islami prescribed and to this extent, political we have been throughout, and we say o secularist Misters and Mullahs you have learnt politics and religion from Europe, that is why you have not understood Islam in any degree and that is how you have called us a political party in a satirical vein. There are still others to say, “God’s was but to be worshipped you have without any justification, vested political sovereignty in to Him. And irony is you regard sovereignty some thing exclusive to him,” “you deny human sovereignty which is typical of Khawarij”. Exactly like you, they thought that rule and sovereignty are but for Gad (Rule is for none, except Allah. Quran).

We have firm belief that according to Quran and Sunnah, worship alone is not divine right but surrender and obedience are also His exclusive rights” “and whoever, ascribes partners unto him in his said rights commits the offence of ascribing of partners un to him. If amongst men if some one has a right to obedience he has this right but with the divine sanction and that to within the limits prescribed by Allah almighty and has to the absolute surrender to some one independent of Allah is even not justified for the Prophet (PBUH) himself. Not to speak of estate ore a political or cultural body. The law that does not recognize the superiority of Allah’s Book (The Quran) and Sunnah of the Prophet(PBUH),which on the contrary lays down that principals and their details both in all the spheres of life or to be decided by man and so legislatures need not refer to any commandments and rather legislate against such commandments cannot be validated from Quran and Sunnah.”
