Talking to
the JD delegation, the JI ameer assured them of his party's
fullest support to secure the undoing of the notorious amendments
in the Hudoud laws. The ruling clique, he said, is influenced by
the USA and the west and trying to brand the Hudoud punishments as
brutal. They have been entrusted the task of furthering ideas of
west in the country. "The army generals have become instruments in
the hands of America. If the people throng to Islamabad in large
number, then even the army will not be able to survive the masses
power and ultimately people will win."
About the
stalemate on resignation issue, the JI ameer said that we will
find a middle way to secure the ultimate survival of the MMA. The
MMA is a blessed alliance and Islamic forces will remain united
under the banner of this alliance. |
