Qazi
condemns government affiliation with USA on Bajaur tragedy

President of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal and ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami
Pakistan Qazi Hussain Ahmad has flayed government for its failure
to check the US attack on Bajaur Agency. He vowed to keep up the
protests and movement until the government denounces its
affiliation with USA and Western Powers.
The mainstream opposition leaders
headed for Bajaur on Monday were stopped at Yakka Ghand by the
political administration over which inflated opposition condemned
government tactics.
The caravan included leader of
opposition Maulana Fazl-Ur-Rehman, PML(N) leader Chaudhry Nisar
Ali Khan, ARD General secretary Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, PPPP leader
Makhdoom Amin Fahim PTI Chief Imran Khan, PPP-P Raja Pervez Ashraf,
the former Chief Minister of NWFP, Pir Sabir Shah and other
notable MNAs and MPAs
The oppositional caravan was
forced to stop at Mehmand Agency, at the Yakka Ghand stop, by the
officials, where they addressed a mammoth rally.
Speaking on this occasion Qazi
Hussain derided President Musharraf's government as an ally of the
invaders and termed the political administration of the frontier
region as spies for the allied forces stationed in Afghanistan.
Addressing the rally opposition
leaders chided the government for stopping the entire oppositional
caravan, which was proceeding towards the Bajaur tragedy site to
offer their condolences for the victims of innocent, bereaved
families.
Speakers demanded of the
government to call back troops from Waziristan, demanding
resignation from President General Pervez Musharraf, seeking an
apology from US over Bajaur attack and expulsion of US envoy from
Pakistan and calling back Pakistani envoy from US and raising
voice against US at United Nations Security Council and vowed to
start a countrywide movement against the government over its
criminal neglect.
They went on to say that
government had broken all the records of cruelty and suppression
by its inside collaboration with the allied attackers. They said
that if it cannot control these excesses by the invaders it should
simply retire.
