JI shoora sets up special fund for movement Lahore, Nov 8: Jamaat-e-Islami shoora has set up a special fund worth 15 million to ensure timely logistic support for the upcoming drive against the government. According to a press release of JI media centre on Wednesday, when Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Qazi Hussain Ahmad made an appeal for the fund, members of JI women wing present in the JI shoora [as an observers] donated their gold ornaments besides five rupees lakh cash in the special fund. Male members of shoora followed the suit and pledged to donate rupees 15 million in the special fund. Qazi Hussain Ahmad lauded the spirit of JI shoora members and hoped that generous donations of the JI workers will help rid the country from dictatorship. |
