LAHORE, Dec 23: Muttahida Majlise Amal President and
Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmad has said the parties
taking part in Jan 08 elections are promoting American agenda as
none of them dared to bid farewell to US hegemony in their
manifestos. He urged the masses to boycott the fraud elections and
support the All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM).
Delivering Eid-ul-Azha Sermon at Jamia Mansoorah on Sunday, Qazi
Hussain Ahmad noted that there is need of major change to improve
the prevailing situation and urged the people support the APDM to
create conducive atmosphere to make possible the holding of free and
fair elections.
He went on to say that the upcoming polls would not bring any change
but it would further strong the roots of dictatorship.
The MMA President pointed out that all political parties contesting
the polls did not mention in their manifesto how to get free the
nation from the US slavery as Washington was openly threatening to
launch military operation directly inside Pakistan against Al-Qaeda
operatives.
He said Pakistani rulers were feeling proud of frontline allies of
the US war against terrorism rather the US itself is the main
terrorist which is using destructive arms for mass killing of
innocent people in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Qazi Hussain Ahmad termed the rulers as selfish who sold Pakistan
for their personal interest on the US which created numerous
problems for the masses.
He said the spirit of sacrifice is still present in the masses but
there is no sign of it in the upper class and they are exploiting
the poor people.
The MMA President maintained that the former rulers badly looted the
national exchequer and transferred their wealth aboard. (#)
