JI appeals public to help solve Karachi massacre

Lahore, May 15: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan spokesman Amirul Azim has appealed to people from all walks of life to save the proofs regarding the Karachi massacre of May 12 and the ongoing conspiracies against the superior judiciary.

In a statement on Tuesday, Amirul Azim said in order to secure the future of the country it is necessary to unveil those proofs in the courts after the change of present government and to bring all the culprits to book. He said a flood of conspiracies is unleashed in the country due to the desire of an individual to keep occupying the president's house. He said after another attempt has been made after Shaikh Mujibur Rehman to play the language card but the unity of the people and courageous role played by the media have made such conspiracies to fail.

Amirul Azim said the murder of Supreme Court's additional registrar Hammad Raza, arrest of DIG Saleemullah Khan and latest confessional statements by MQM leaders are serving to raise curtain over a number of secrets. He said on the instructions of Qazi Hussain Ahmad, Jamaat Islami is collecting eye witness accounts, proofs, press reports, photographs and other facts regarding the Karachi massacre. He appealed to the people to cooperate with JI in this task according to the call of their conscience.
