LAHORE, Nov 16: Jamaat-e-Islami ameer and MMA president Qazi Hussain Ahmad has said that the country is under control of Generals, feudals and capitalists who are treating the masses worse than the slaves. To realize their fundamental rights and eradicate price hike, unemployment and lawlessness, the people must struggle to change the system by joining the peaceful movement being launched by the opposition parties, he said while delivering Friday sermon at Mansoorah.

Qazi Hussain Ahmad said by usurping the civil liberties, suspending fundamental rights and killing them through army in the name of terrorism, the military government is pushing the country towards a civil war. He asked if the rulers want to avert the civil war they must lift all kind of bans, release political leaders and workers, restore chief justice of Pakistan and other judges, lift emergency and hold elections through independent election commission.

Qazi warned that elections will be a fraud without lifting emergency and restoring the constitution, and lifting ban from media. He condemned the police baton charge and arrests of female workers of Pakistan Tehrik Insaf and said such cruelty was even worse than that by the Israeli army against the Palestinian protestors. He expressed sorrow that military rulers are committing cruelties against their own people to please the American administration, killing innocent Muslims in Swat, Waziristan and Balochistan. Qazi alleged that military rulers received 11 billion dollars from Washington to make Pakistan army kill and fight against their own citizens.

Qazi said religious workers never worked for personal interests despite that they had resisted many regimes especially the dictatorships, and only demanded that system of justice should be established in the country by enforcing the system of Holy Quran and Sunnah.
