LAHORE, Nov 21: MMA president and Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Qazi Hussain Ahmad has made telephonic contacts with PML-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif and PPP vice chairman Makhdoom Amin Fahim on Wednesday.

According to a JI press release, the MMA president discussed the prevailing political situation with both the leaders especially the election schedule. Qazi Hussain Ahmad proposed to both the leaders that all opposition parties should boycott the forthcoming elections collectively. He emphasized that any elections under the martial law will be a fraud.

According to the spokesman, Mian Nawaz Sharif said he would soon contact Qazi Hussain Ahmad again on the issue. While Makhdoom Amin Fahim told Qazi that he would convey the proposal to PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto and give a reply after consulting her on the issue.
