LAHORE, Jan 22: All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) has chalked out different programs from January 22 to February 16, to make effective the ongoing campaign for the boycott of the fraud elections being held by Gen Musharraf.

These programs include public meetings and rallies which will be addressed by central and provincial leaders, besides corner meetings and door-to-door visits at Union Council level to create awareness about the electoral drama, says an announcement by Jamaat-e-Islami media cell at Mansoorah on Tuesday.

According to announcement, the APDM parties will call immediate meetings at local and district levels to constitute different committees comprising leaders from all participants to make necessary preparations for the boycott campaign. In additions to that, the APDM parties will also constitute different delegations to run mass contact campaign and corner meetings to reach maximum people and apprise them about the 'fraud' elections and convince them to boycott the same, it added.

According to announcement, APDM will hold large public meeting at Gujranwala where all central leaders including Qazi Hussain Ahmad, Imran Khan, Mehmood Khan Achakzai etc. and others will address the people. Public meetings will be held at Faisalabad on Feb. 3, Multan on Feb. 4, Peshawar on Feb. 7, Hyderabad on Feb. 8, Karachi on Feb. 10, Quetta on Feb. 12, Rawalpindi on Feb. 14 and Lahore on Feb. 16.

According to announcement, Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Qazi Hussain Ahmad will visit different areas of NWFP province from Jan 22 to Jan 24. He will address a Friday congregation at Mansoorah mosque on Jan 25 and hold meetings with different delegations in Lahore on Jan 26. He will address a seminar in Karachi on Jan 27 and address different public meetings at Takht Bhai on Jan 28, Swabi on Jan 29, Temargirah on Jan 30 and Dir on Jan 31. Qazi Hussain Ahmad will address a convention of Islami Jamiat Talaba in Peshawar on Feb. 1, and address a national seminar in Islamabad on Feb. 5 in connection with the Kashmir Solidarity Day. The announcement said the JI will observe Kashmir Solidarity Day with forceful spirit and enthusiasm and hold rallies and public meetings all over the country. A seminar will be held in Lahore on Feb 6 where all APDM leaders will address the participants. Qazi Hussain Ahamd will hold meetings with ambassadors of different countries on Feb 11, the announcement concluded.
