LAHORE, June 04: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Qazi Hussain Ahmad arrived in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) Tuesday night on a week-long tour to the Kingdom.

According to party's Media Cell press release, during his visit Qazi Hussain Ahmad will take part in a conference, on the unification of Muslim Ummah, under the aegis of World Muslim League in the holiest city of Mecca. The moot is scheduled to be held between June 4-6. In addition to address various gatherings of overseas Pakistanis in the KSA, Qazi Hussain will also perform Ummrah.

In the absence of Qazi Hussain Ahmad, party's secretary-general Syed Munawar Hasan has taken oath as the acting Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan. (#)
