Is Abortion not killing?
Question:

This is a Jamiat Islami site. I am stunned that you do not think that contraception is killing. Is abortion not killing? Latest studies have shown that the foetus even in the very early stages feels acute pain and recoils when attempts are made to destroy it. The most common form of abortion in the first 3 months sucks it out of existence in a way that not even the Daisy Cutter does. Try seeing photographs and then try to justify it. To talk about Ruh is utterly senseless and irrelevant. What does Ruh have to do with it? If it carries life and will grow only into one particular human being not just anything then surely it is sacred and accordingly a grave sin. Why does not anyone in the Muslim world have the courage to denounce this heinous crime? The person asking the question by the way deserves a good kick in the pants which you have not given. Just read the question and it is chilling in its utter selfishness and in its western mindset that is: me me me me me me me … nothing else. If you don't want children don't do the obvious thing.

Does it have to be spelt out? Sex does create pregnancy. If you don't want responsibility with the pleasure then simply abstain or delay marriage until you are ready.

ANSWER:

WaAlaikum Assalam dear Shama Kunhi!

You are so absolutely right in your statement and thanks for indicating the latest scientific evidence that I simply can not agree more. I wonder, however, where and when did I (or we) approve of contraception? If you got that impression in our statement, please consider it a lapse. Sure I find it the most heinous crime of the day, that is anti-natal and anti-human. I wish you take a little time and scan through this website, particularly its Q and A section. It is a continuous jihad against the global contraception plans and most forms of demanded abortions. I also wish you please consider just one exception that I have been suggesting. When the mother’s life is in real danger, can not be saved without abortion, that at the same time there is truly no way to save the baby, then let the specialists decide abortion or what to do. God knows, even this suggestion which you will hopefully find logical and humane) was given with very heavy heart. A human soul is most precious, that must be saved, unless impossible.

And how true are you again that sex in any case leads to (or must lead to) pregnancy and motherhood. There is no other purpose of sex in any living species, worth the name. That being the case, no question of contraception, or free-for-all abortion.

Wassalam,
