Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman to Inaugurate “Mera Brand Pakistan” Expo on Independence Day
Lahore – August 11: Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman will inaugurate the two-day “Mera Brand Pakistan” Expo at Expo Centre Lahore on Independence Day.
Organized by the Pakistan Business Forum, the exhibition will feature over 200 brands from 80 leading Pakistani companies, with 175 stalls set up for the event.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Pakistan Business Forum President Ijaz Tanveer and Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry Senior Vice President Engineer Khalid Usman described the event as a purely family festival. They said the expo is expected to attract between 150,000 and 200,000 visitors, including traders, women, and children.
The exhibition will showcase and promote local industries, with activities such as cooking and baking competitions offering prizes worth millions of rupees. To encourage entrepreneurship among youth, the event will also host a business ideas and startup competition, with the winner receiving an interest-free loan of Rs 1 million.
A special “Knowledge & Learning Lounge” will facilitate youth meet-ups with entrepreneurs from 50 different sectors, while a dedicated Halal Food Conference will be held in light of the growing global demand for halal products.
Visitors to the expo will have the chance to win valuable prizes, enjoy discounts on brand purchases, and receive gifts. This year’s Independence Day celebrations at the expo will be held under the slogan “Hold the Flag of Economic Freedom.”
