Actions of ruling elite spreading despair: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman
Says Balochistan is a province of those who love Islam and Pakistan
JAFFARABAD, Oct 31: Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, said that if Balochistan develops, Pakistan will also move forward. He stated that the people and youth of Balochistan demand education and employment, which are their basic rights. The actions of those in power are causing disappointment among the youth.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing male and female students of free IT courses under the “Bano Qabil” program in Jaffarabad. Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan and Member of the Provincial Assembly, Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch, assembly member Abdul Majeed Badini, Professor Muhammad Ayub Mansoor, President of Alkhidmat Foundation Jaffarabad Irfan Ahmed Abro, and others also addressed the participants of the entry test.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that a nation cannot realize its dreams of development while keeping people deprived of education and employment. He questioned, how can a country progress when 32% of its youth are unemployed? He demanded that youth be provided with education and opportunities to move forward. Like other regions of Pakistan, Balochistan’s deserts should also have quality educational institutions. “Show the youth a bright future and work for them — they will become your strength,” he added.
Jamaat-e-Islami, through the Alkhidmat platform, is providing free, quality, and modern education and is running a movement to promote learning, he remarked. He further said that Jamaat-e-Islami is serving the nation without holding power or authority. Youth are the real strength of this country and nation. A nation that has youth who love education cannot be stopped from achieving progress and prosperity. The rulers, he said, have disappointed not only the nation but also millions of young people by depriving them of education and jobs.
He announced that along with free IT courses, scholarships for degree programs will also be provided. The Alkhidmat Foundation will offer interest-free loans to young men and women of Balochistan for home-based crafts and small industries so they can work hard and support their families with dignity. Those who perform well will also be offered scholarships abroad. “I promise the youth,” he said, “that Alkhidmat will help you study as far as you wish to go.”
He added that the gathering of thousands of young people from Balochistan is proof of their determination to learn and progress. Their resolve is to illuminate the nation with the light of knowledge.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman invited the youth to attend the public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore, on November 21–23, saying that this revolutionary event will decide the future of the country. “This gathering is based on the slogan ‘Change the System,’” he said. “With the help of our youth, we will change this oppressive and exploitative system imposed on the country.”
He further stated, “We will not allow the feudal and landlord system to continue. Pakistan does not belong to any landlord, feudal, general, or ruler. No chieftain, feudal, or capitalist can enslave a worker of Jamaat-e-Islami.”
He demanded that the rulers stop creating hurdles in the path of education and instead provide facilities for a uniform system, a single book, and a single curriculum. He criticized the government, saying, “The government thinks that by giving a few thousand rupees, it has fed the poor. How can a family survive with 13,000 rupees?” He concluded that when educated youth gain employment, they will be able to support their families with honor and dignity.
