US-Israeli Attack on Iran Open Aggression, Say Liaquat Baloch and Saad Rafique
Lahore, March 2: Vice Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaquat Baloch on Monday met senior Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader and former federal minister Khawaja Saad Rafique at his residence in Lahore to inquire after his health and pray for his speedy recovery.
During the meeting, both leaders held detailed discussions on key national and regional developments, including the recent US and Israeli attack on Iran, the martyrdom of Iranian leadership figures, the ongoing Pakistan-Afghanistan tensions, and the deteriorating law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
Strongly condemning the attack on Iran, Liaquat Baloch termed the US-Israeli aggression as open terrorism, saying it posed a grave threat to regional peace and stability. He stressed that disputes with Afghanistan should be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy, warning that escalation would only benefit hostile forces.
He further emphasized that political leadership must sit together to resolve internal challenges and ensure political stability, adding that economic stability and lasting peace were impossible without political consensus and national unity.
Khawaja Saad Rafique thanked Liaquat Baloch for visiting him and expressed appreciation for his goodwill, respect, and longstanding relationship of mutual regard spanning decades. He also endorsed the need for unity and collective efforts to address the country’s pressing challenges.
Both leaders offered prayers for the safety and stability of Pakistan, Iran, Gaza, and the entire Muslim world.
