Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman Announces Nationwide Protests Against US-Israel Actions
JI Emir Meets Iranian Envoy in Islamabad, Expresses Solidarity with Tehran

Islamabad, March 4: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has announced nationwide protests on Friday against US and Israeli aggression and expressed solidarity with the government and people of Iran.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad following his meeting with the Iranian envoy, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman strongly criticized the United States, Israel, and India, describing them as an “evil trinity.” He also termed the so-called Gaza Peace Board, formed under US President Donald Trump, as a deception and demanded that the Government of Pakistan immediately withdraw from it.
Earlier, Rehman, accompanied by party leaders including Naib Emir Mian Aslam, Deputy Secretary General Farasat Shah, Islamabad Emir Nasrullah Randhawa, Secretary Information Shakil Ahmed Turabi, and Ataur Rehman, visited the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad. During the meeting with Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam, he conveyed condolences over the martyrdom of Iranian leaders, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, in Israeli and American aggression. He offered prayers for the departed and assured the ambassador that the people of Pakistan and Jamaat-e-Islami stand firmly with Iran in the current situation.
The Iranian ambassador thanked Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman for the expression of solidarity and appreciated Jamaat-e-Islami’s efforts for Muslim unity.
During the press conference, the JI chief urged both the government and opposition in Pakistan to unequivocally condemn the US-Israel attack on Iran. He stated that defeating the nefarious designs of the US and Israel in Iran was essential, warning that failure to do so could embolden Zionist expansionism in the region.
Rehman said President Trump has violated international law and called for him to be declared a war criminal. He said that the US and Israel had imposed war on Iran and targeted political leadership, terming it one of the darkest chapters in modern history. He further said that children had been killed in the initial phase of the conflict and criticized Western silence as evidence of double standards.
The JI chief also demanded transparent investigations into the firing on protesters outside the US Consulate in Karachi, which resulted in casualties. He urged demonstrators to remain peaceful and called upon citizens across the country to participate in Friday’s protests in all districts.
He reiterated that Jamaat-e-Islami seeks unity within the Muslim Ummah and noted that the party had organized symbolic funeral prayers in absentia across the country.
Expressing concern over rising tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman urged both Islamabad and Kabul to resolve disputes through dialogue and ensure that Afghan soil is not used for terrorism against Pakistan.
In response to questions, he said Pakistan should withdraw any nomination of President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize and convene a national consultation on the evolving regional situation. He added that Jamaat-e-Islami would participate in any forum aimed at supporting Palestine and Iran.
